Maybe I’m looking at it all through rose tinted glasses; Leeds is my home after all. But these images remind me of a much more idealised place, like Camden or the streets of Shoreditch. The city may not be perfect but it sure does have some character.
These images are unmistakably Leeds. Rusty metal fencing, corrugated iron, mossy brickwork. This is why I love the latest photoshoot from Bo Carter, a local designer. ‘Forgotten Leeds’ brings together her latest work and the city where her boutique brand first launched. I first came across Bo Carter at Leeds Fashion Show and I am delighted to present to you her latest collection.

Bozena has also recently launched the Bo Carter Boutique online – a fashion destination featuring independent designers such as Ursula Malanchez, Black Dusk and Jade Warrilow, as well as the latest Bo Carter range. All products are cruelty free so you won’t see any fur, leather or silk in her online shop.
If you’re a Leeds lass and you don’t mind skipping the leather and the fur, make sure you check out Bo Carter Boutique.
