There’s something so British about female androgyny; stiff, regimented and monochrome. When I thought about different ways I could become a #globalstyler for Boohoo.com, I wanted to create something that represented Great British fashion. In the end, nothing seemed more apt than the combination of a 1920s opera coat, a slick and androgynous pinafore jumpsuit and some inspiring British craftsmanship by up and coming accessories designer, Kiss Like Daisy.
This is my look for Boohoo’s #globalstyler and I’m proud to be wearing Boohoo in Leeds, Leeds, Leeds! It may not be the arty streets of Camden, the upmarket sidewalks of Carnaby Street or the graffiti-graced roads of Brick Lane, but to me it’s home and this is where I get a lot of my fashion inspiration.
This is my verse for the high street and vintage fashion in the North.
